What is the Forest and Water Fund?

The Forest & Water Fund provides up to $25,000 in cost-share reimbursement for projects that improve forest health and protect shared water resources.

Funding through the Forest & Water Fund supports projects that protect Michigan's forests and water resources. If you are a Michigan landowner who has 1-2,500 acres of forest land, then you may be eligible for your costs to be reimbursed for putting key covered practices in place on your land.
